The pioneering inter-island mail delivery service in the UK has been extended until February 2026, proving the long-term reliability of maritime drone logistics. With over 500 successful flights in all weather conditions, the project has slashed delivery times by up to 24 hours. The next phase introduces hardware upgrades for winter operations and remote piloting from a centralized operations center to further enhance efficiency and sustainability.
